A whistle blown, shouted commands, and the legionaries formed the 'tortoise', a legendary formation where all troops protected themselves with an interlocking 'shell' of scutum shields that enabled them to survive incoming missiles, before moving to the assault!
This testudo comes complete with grim-faced legionaries, arrows to pepper your scutum shields, and a stern centurion keeping the formation going!
