Note: Insert designed for game with external box dimensions of 29.7 x 29.7 x 7.3 cm.
Official insert compatible with Dominion®, with space for 1,100 sleeved or 1,850 unsleeved cards. The design provides both efficient storage and improved game play, with removable token trays for use during the game. The rule books act as a lid on top of the trays.
The trays are arranged in up to three layers, with the main part of the insert taken up by a large card tray. Both the card trays have space for sleeved cards.
The insert can be placed in either the base game box or any of the large expansion boxes. It also has two different layouts depending on whether you need more token storage or more game mats.
These are the trays from the insert. The main tray is for cards, and it has various recesses in it to eases access to other trays and allow for storage of mats. All the card trays are sized for sleeved cards.
This is the alternative layout intended to maximise the storage space for small tokens. Here the two additional token trays are added in the bottom right corner on top of the two triangular filler trays.
The mats that come with the expansions can be stored in a number of ways depending on how you want to use the insert. They can be placed in a stack in the bottom corner as shown, and the second triangular tray can used to hold them in place. Alternatively they can be placed on top of the cards in the main card tray, where the dividers have a special recess sized to store them.
When packing the box, first place the Trash board on top of the large card tray in the recess provided for this. Then place the rule books on top. This fills the box completely and allows for vertical storage.
