The wildly popular Pulp Adventure board game Fortune and Glory is back with a brand new Revised Edition! A best-selling game since its first release in 2011, fans and new players alike have been clamoring for its return, and this new Revised Edition hits the mark! With a more compact box size, streamlined Rulebook, and over a decade's worth of polish and errata worked in, this is the ultimate version of this classic Cliffhanger adventure game.
The card texts were redone, increasing the font size and changing a few words here and there (e.g. "Adds +2 Adventure Dice" became "Roll +2 Adventure Dice", "rolls of 6" became "rolls of 6+", Villains' and Enemies' "Wounds" became "Health", etc.). The few significant card changes are:
- City: Just Another Day in the City: Three of the five cards no longer bear the reshuffle icon.
- Danger: Ancient Puzzle and Danger: The Riddle of Nardu have had their Cliffhangers swapped.
- Gear: Driving Gloves: "Once per Sneak Test may force a single die to be re-rolled" became "Once per Sneak Test you may Re-roll a single die".
- Villain Event: Sandstorm, Volcanic Eruption: "Any Temple [...] immediately gains an Instability marker and must roll for Collapse" became "Any Temple [...] must immediately roll for Collapse" (Because of the way the Temple Collapse rules have changed).
