Hobby Razor Saw

A single-edged hobby saw is a handy tool for precise detail crosscutting on a variety of materials such as plastics, resins, soft metals, balsa woods, and fiberglass.

This Handsaw is a superfine saw that are mostly used for conversions or building, but also for cutting through miniature parts too thick for the Sider Cutters. Even furniture restorers use these hobby razor saws to cut the wood pieces they use in furniture repair and restoration.

However, one of the fields where this cutting tool is most commonly used is for model ships and other projects that involve constantly working with thin wood and soft materials, as it makes it easy to coining each one of them.

Its flat and stable blade allows for straight and completely uniform cuts. To cut specific angles, it is recommended to use the hobby saws together with the miter box to ensure an exact angle cut and a perfect finish.
