No army is much use without good leaders. The Halflings of the north have sent their veteran sergeants and muster captains to train the soldiers of Ej. Working alongside the talented engineers for which the tinkerer's city is famed and the magical saucerors wielding the arcane art of Gastromancy, in every village and town of Ej, the people are preparing. Every village green is now a drill field, and great musters are being held monthly to give larger formations the chance to manoeuvre and engage in mock combats.
